Valheim has fireworks, if you're prepared to give your surtling cores

If you've spent prison term exploring the old burial William Chambers and slurpy swamps of Valheim, you've credibly self-collected your fair portion out of surtling cores. The glowing, presumably evil cubes can glucinium used to craft some of the most important items in the game like smelters, kilns, good time furnaces, and fast-travel portals. Early in the game, surtling cores are a pretty precious resource that takes a lot of dangerous work and exploration to find.

So you've no doubt been storing your surtling cores carefully in a chest, doling them outgoing only if you need to habitus an important device or countersink up a new portal in a remote finish. Chucking a surtling core haphazardly into your campfire? It probably wouldn't be your world-class instinct.

But if you do it, you get a heck of a nice treat. Putting a surtling core into a campfire operating room bonfire turns it into a missile that launches straight heavenward in everyone's thoughts and explodes. Valheim's got fireworks! I had no idea.

The only downside of throwing a surtling core into the fire (you can do this away putting a core in a numbered item expansion slot and so pressing that number when you interact with the fire) is that the core is completely burned. Just it's a pretty strange show, peculiarly at night, washup the close area in a nice, warm beam. It could be a fun direction to celebrate a victory concluded one of Valheim's bosses, or maybe to signal another thespian that your base is under onrush, if they happen to be nearby and soured mic.

Or maybe there's a larger purpose for fireworks we haven't discovered up to now. Meantime, they're pretty to view, though don't get too victimised to putting on shows unless you've got a altogether heck of a lot of spare surtling cores prevarication around.
